The year 2013 played out in the most eventful manner on Indian television. 

Amidst controversies, reality shows and the race for maximum TRPs, several show hosts made their presence felt with their charisma and popularity.

Salman Khan

Salman Khan, in his inimitable style, returned as the host of Bigg Boss for its seventh season.

While he was embroiled in the show's many controversies during its run, his fans locked horns on social networking sites.

While he did hint, in one of the Bigg Boss 7 episodes, that he may not returns as the host again, reports suggest that he might host as well as produce the next season.

The man with the famous baritone has become the face of Indian television's biggest quiz show.

So much so, that contestants on the show seem to be happier meeting the acting legend than winning the prize money.

His witty questions and deft handling of tricky situation on his chat show Koffee with Karan has won him many fans.
