It's raining lip-locks on the silver screen and how!

Debutant director Shashank Khaitan's film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya marks the onset of steamy kissing scenes in films this season.

Lead actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt reunite after their successful debut with Karan Johar's Student of the Year, and their chemistry in this one is off the roof, if you ask us!

In quite a contrast to Paoli Dam's unabashed sexuality in Hate Story, the sequel's lead pair -- television actors Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla -- seem slightly ill at ease in steamy scenes (which constitutes for only, maybe, 85 per cent of this film).

Their full-blown lip-lock too comes across as awkward.

But hey, as they say, never judge an erotic thriller by the kisses in its promo.

This one is of Bhai blowing a kiss to his leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez in Sajid Nadiadwala's directorial debut Kick, slated for a release this Eid.

That or, it's meant for the fans for whom watching a Salman Khan film has become a festive ritual.

So Akshay Kumar stars along side a dog in a film that has been named after the dog's character in the film.

This may not be a steamy one, but a sloppy kiss on the cheek from your furry friend is better than most things, right?
