Kangna Ranaut may be one of the most sought after stars in Bollywood post the success of Queen but the actress has denied reports that she is demanding more money now.

The 27-year-old actress, who has only one release Ungli this year, rather wants to slow down a bit by doing one film at a time.

"There is nothing like that. I have not increased my fee after Queen. It's just not about the price. I am not taking up projects like people expected me to do. They thought I will sign some 10 films after it. That's not I am doing and people might be thinking that way," she said.

Kangna will start shooting Tanu Weds Manu 2 with R Madhavan in August.

"I am teaming up with Madhavan again and am quite excited about it," said Kangna, whose role of a no-nonsense girl was appreciated in the original film by Anand L Rai.

Kangna will begin shooting Reema Kagti's project next year while Divine Lovers, India's first French production starring her and Irrfan, will go on floors by the year end.

"I am doing one film at a time. I am not clashing my dates. In February next year, I am shooting for Reema's project and by the year end I will be shooting with Irrfan for Divine Lovers," she added.

Newcomer Akhil Kapur, who is Vinod Khanna's nephew, says he watched his uncle's 1987 revenge drama Dayavan to prepare for his intense role in his debut film.

Akhil is playing one of the male leads in filmmaker Anand Kumar's Desi Kattey, which also stars Suniel Shetty, Jay Bhanushali and Tia Bajpai.

"I am playing a grey role in Desi Kattey. Action and the intense role are the two things in the film that attract me the most. My character Pali is a small town boy who has grown up making guns. He wants to be a known and famous gangster of the town.

"To play the character, I have watched my uncle's Dayavan and Sanjay Dutt's Vaastav. Both the roles are somewhat similar to my character. Vinod mama has always been my biggest inspiration and like a father figure to me," Akhil said.

Born and raised in Dubai, Akhil, 29, studied filmmaking from New York and also assisted director Reema Kagti on Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd.

The crime drama will hit theatres on August 29 and the trailer of the film has so far garnered positive response.

The newbie actor has a passion for martial arts and wants to do an out-an-out action film to showcase his talent.

"I always wanted to be an actor. I mostly want to do action films. I want to do an action film and have been approached by a filmmaker too. I am in talks with him and hopefully if everything goes well I will be a part of the project that will change the face of action in the industry," Akhil said.
