Shah Rukh Khan has come up with a novel idea to promote his upcoming film Happy New Year.

He will take the film's cast -- Deepika Padukone, Malaika Arora Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah -- singers Kanika Kapoor and Yo Yo Honey Singh and director Farah Khan on an extravagant tour around USA. The tour will be called SLAM! The Tour.

Shah Rukh will be performing in USA after a gap of 10 years. The tour will start on September 19 in Houston, and move on to New Jersey, Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver and San Jose, in that order. The tour will end on September 28.
