Several Bollywood expressed their shock over Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde‘s sudden death and offered their condolences on Twitter. Here’s what they said:

Hema Malini: How can a life be snuffed out just like that? Gopinathji is no more! I was quite close to him & it is a personal loss for me! He was to have come with me to Mathura on the 10th to address the farmers there & to promise to look into their grievances! I had discussed with him the problems faced by the villagers & as the Minister in charge of Rural Development he had said he would help! A BJP stalwart is no more! The party is shattered by the suddenness of his passing away & will have to recoup & carry on!

Javed Akhtar: The sudden demise of Mr Munde has come as a shock to every one . My condolence to the family and friends.

Mahesh Bhatt: Tragic ! Gopinath Munde, a fine human being & leader has 'passed away'. The Nation mourns his loss.

Sunny Leone gets ready for Splitsvilla

Sunny Leone will host the seventh season of MTV Splitsvilla, and the actress is working hard to get ready for it.

She shared a picture from the sets and wrote: 'On set. Love my wardrobe from Hitesh ;)' 

The actress is also brushing up on her Hindi for the show. 'Having a relaxing day @MTVSplitsvilla Here's a picture where I was working on my Hindi lines for the show. Lots 2 learn,' she added with another picture (above)

Sunny Leone gets ready for Splitsvilla

Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, who celebrate their 41st wedding anniversary on June 3, have one of the longest marriages in Bollywood.

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'June 3, marriage anniversary .. 41 years !! Devoid of any celebration, devoid of presence, just devoid .. Wife away out of country, children travelling ..but hearts together ! And to all that wish for the anniversary .. many thanks for the wishes .. love all of you.'

'Ajana Batas will be a tribute to Anjanda'

Actress Paoli Dam, who will be seen in the late Anjan Das's next film Ajana Batas, says the film will be a tribute to him. 

She shared a working still and added: 'The release of #AjanaBatas will be a tribute to Anjan da. RIP Anjan da.'

Soha Ali Khan also paid tribute to him and wrote: 'Anjan Das, my first director (iti srikanta) passed away today after battling liver cancer. He taught me so much - I pray he is at peace.'
