'Holi is the right time to express your love'

Television actors look back in time and discuss their favourite Holi moments. We take a look:

What excites me most about festivals are the savories prepared for the guests visiting our home. I have a sweet tooth and gujiyas are my weakness.

Every year during Holi, as a kid, I would sneak into the kitchen to steal some gujiyas and store a few in my cupboard.

On the sets, while we are shooting, I continue gorging on sweets while others are busy giving their shots.

This year we will all be shooting for Qubool Hai on the day of Holi. But I will be carrying colour on the sets and will celebrate Holi with everybody after the shoot.

It’s been a while since my friends and I have gathered together to celebrate Holi.

When we were in college, we used to ensure that all of us got together at a friend’s place a night before to make arrangements to attack our college hostel the next day.

We were a riot, with those 50 hostel students, on the streets.

I miss those days, but I will celebrate holi on the sets of our show Do Dil Bandhe EK Dori Se with the entire cast.

Holi is the right time to express your love and forgive those who have hurt you by splashing colours.

The festival isn’t merely an act of smearing colour on your friends or family but it also carries the message of love, brotherhood and bonding.

I am not a Holi person but I land up playing with herbal colours and advise everyone the same.

The festival of Holi can be regarded as a celebration of colours, unity and rotherhood, and an opportunity to forget all differences and indulge in pure fun.

I have many memories of celebrating Holi with my family and friends back home in Delhi.

Luckily, I have found a wonderful family here on sets of Bani Ishq Da Kalma as well and I look forward to celebrating with them this year.

Holi has traditionally been celebrated in high spirits without any distinction of cast, creed, colour or race.

It is one occasion when sprinkling coloured powder or water on each other breaks all barriers of discrimination.

Holi has always been a special festival for me and I have so many fun memories associated with it.

As always, this year too I plan to keep it safe and enjoy without harming anyone.
