South Korea confirms participationShailesh SoniThe International Hockey Federation on Friday confirmed that South Korea has accepted the invitation to participate in the Habib Bank-sponsored 20th Champions Trophy, to be played between October 31-November 8, in Lahore. Korea got the chance to participate in the FIH's premier annual men's event following England's withdrawal earlier this week on security considerations, following an advisory from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Travel Advice Unit. All other teams participating in the tournament -- Australia, Germany, Netherlands, Spain and hosts Pakistan -- have already confirmed their participation. Each year, the Champions Trophy brings together the world's top six men's teams. Joining the hosts are the World and Olympic Champions, Champions Trophy holders and the highest ranked teams from the World Cup (or Olympic Games, whichever is more recent. Following is the confirmed match schedule:

12h05 - Australia Vs Germany
15h05 - Korea Vs Pakistan
Sunday 1 November : 13h05 - German Vs Netherlands
15h05 - Spain Vs Pakistan
Monday 2 November : 15h05 - Korea Vs Australia
Tuesday 3 November : 10h05 - Germany Vs Spain
13h05 - Pakistan Vs Australia
15h05 - Netherlands Vs Korea
Wednesday 4 November : 15h05 - Pakistan Vs Netherlands
Thursday 5 November : 11h05 - Spain Vs Australia
13h05 - Germany Vs Korea
Friday 6 November : 09h05 - Australia Vs Netherlands
