Love match for Manisha-Nirupama

The Indian challenge in the women's doubles of the Olympics tennis event was over in 35 minutes as the sixth seeded Australian pair of Jelena Dokic and Rene Stubbs blasted Manisha Malhotra and Nirupama Vaidyanathan 6-0, 6-0.

It was too much to expect form the Indians considering that they were up against a a formidable doubles pair.

The Indians won just 18 points, during which they served four double faults in the first set and one in the second, to 50 by the Australians. Their only chance to hold serve came in the first game of the second set when Nirupama was up 30-0 on her serve and then 40-15.

It wasn't that the Australian's served many aces. Actually, the served none while the Indians got one while desperately trying to hold service.
