Rebecca put an end to unseeded Kartiki Bhat's fine run. The Indian had accounted for top seed Megha Vakharia's ouster in the first round. After conceding the first set at 5-7, Rebecca staged a grand recovery to turn tables on Bhat. The match, which lasted two hours and 20 minutes, witnessed some fine rallies and attacking tennis at the net. The British girl held her nerve till the very end to take the next two sets 6-4, 6-4 and move into the final. The boys' singles final will see second seed Rohan Gajjar of India crossing swords with Dominic Stoecwer of Switzerland. In the semi-finals on Friday, Gajjar pipped his fourth seeded compatriot Karan Rastogi 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 in one hour 53 minutes while the tall Swiss, who had ousted top seed Amanjot Singh of India in the first round, upset third seed Anuwatf Daldom of Indonesia 7-5, 6-3 in one hour 55 minutes.
