Rumals are usually 4 foot by 2 foot and are used as table covers or framed. Historical and religious scenes are created out of exquisite silk embroidery. The reverse side of a Chambal Rumal is a mirror image of the 'right' side. A piece may take many months to execute and be priced at Rs 4,000 or more.
