Marcus Trescothick: He is a very attacking player. His "get out" area is if you bowl the middle and off line, which induces the edge into the slips. He is a good ODI player, and in the limited overs game you don't get too much time to work a batsman out. You therefore need to make allowances for his strengths -- for instance, he likes to hook and pull, so a deep square leg becomes mandatory; similarly, he loves to play the cut and the way to defeat him is to cramp the shot.
The best line to him is middle and off, the best length is just short.
