'There won't be a sequel to OSO'

Choreographer-director Farah Khan is a dynamo. The mother of triplets juggles films, family, television shows and now a brand new chat show Tere Mere Beach Mein with aplomb.

How does she do all this? Well, fans got their chance to ask Farah herself on her movies, and her close star friends in the industry on Wednesday during a rediff chat. For those of you who missed the chat, here's what transpired:

Farah Khan says, Hi. This is Farah and I hope you have seen the first episode, with Salman and his mom!

anu asked, u must not have said those bad words about manoj kumar.
Farah Khan answers, Hey Anu, No of course I haven't said any bad words about Manoj Kumar. I really respect and love his movies, especially Clerk.

RahulK asked, Farah, please try to get Aamir and Shahrukh together for your talk show.
Farah Khan answers, Rahul, if I could get them for a chat show, why not for a movie? That'd be far more lucrative.

saan asked, when you make a film which look more a "cinema" than a unrealistic drama
Farah Khan answers, Saan, there are already lots of people making 'cinema' and losing lots of money. Can I please keep making money for the film industry? It really needs it.

Malik asked, Farah will like to see u making Sequel Of OSO .. can u do it again ?
Farah Khan answers, We had actually thought of a sequel. But sorry we won't be making it. It had Arjun Rampal's son coming to take revenge.

SAJID asked, WAT MADE YOU TO BECOME AN ANCHOR FOR THE SHOW ? WILL U INVITE UR HUBBY FOR THE SHOW?
Farah Khan answers, Sajid, I guess I got a lot of offers to host a show and this show really excited me, because it was my concept. And my hubby has really played very hard to get, to get on the show.

getz asked, hi farha how u doing?? ur new show tere mere beech me was really good..infact v wantd to knw more abt salman yous should have askd few more thngs :) i like salman khan since my childhood days since hs sanam bewafa days n i guess i was only 6 yrs old that time.want to knw more abt him..so who all are the celebrities u planning to call on ur show.i want to see ashwarya n madhuri too n ya ranbir kapoor.all of ur movies were realy good main hu na n oso.are u planning to take any new comer. for ur next movie?hope u will give us the opportunity too :) take care.
Farah Khan answers, Getz, we had a lot on Salman, but the show is supposed to run only for an hour. And actually Salman's show ran for an hour and fifteen minutes. So sorry, unless the channel wants to run one episode for the whole day, this is what you'll get.

Farah Khan answers, Vikas, yes I love Anu Malik! My expressions are what they are because sometimes I can't understand what he's saying.

Farah Khan answers, Nishant, even I have a great desire to work AR Rahman. Maybe if I make a Hollywood movie next.

Farah Khan answers, Did you see what he did to Priyanka at the IIFA? I think having a sense of humour is far more important.

Farah Khan answers, I am going to start writing my script, which is called Happy New Year.

bageshri asked, Farah what one thing is diffrent from your chat show to the other chat shows?According to you?
Farah Khan answers, If you have seen my chat show, you will know Bageshri, we don't do any gossip or sensationalise what the guests are saying. We show them as humanly as possible, as they are.

Farah Khan answers, Nadeem, won't that be a casting coup? Shahid, Kareena AND Saif! Wow, your list of demands are just too much.

Farah Khan answers, Michael Jackson. I have no formal training. I learnt it all from Thriller.

Farah Khan answers, Nishant, for once and for all, I am not casting Shirish. Imagine me directing my husband! That's the end of my marriage.

Farah Khan answers, It's actually two episodes per week. Saturday and Sunday, at 9 pm on Star Plus. This week's episodes are really very special. So watch!

Farah Khan answers, No we can't, Santhosh. There will be a stampede when people see the stars. Also the sound is a big problem outdoors.

Farah Khan answers, Sarita, actually it was quite easy. They are so used to being asked the same questions again and again that even for them it was a pleasant change to answer questions that they have never been asked before.

Farah Khan answers, Nagraj, I guess by 'boys in your locality' you mean you. Too bad for them that they're not Shah Rukh Khan.

Farah Khan answers, Dev, first of all I'm not directing the serial (chat show), I'm hosting it. Definitely directing a film is most exciting.

Jatin asked, Farahji, will you be inviting any political leaders in your chat show. It would be fun to watch Jaswant Singh, Advaniji, Raj Thackeray coming on your chat show?
Farah Khan answers, Jatin, we definitely try next time. And why have you forgotten Lalu?

Farah Khan answers, Yes, sometimes it does. But I guess it's better to be honest than to be fake.

Farah Khan answers, I would really like to get her on the show, but not if we have to pay for her air ticket from America.

Farah Khan answers, Yea, I would love to. I'm a big fan.

Anuj asked, You made fun of Manoj Kumar in OSO. He showed tremendous grace but you and SRK showed complete lack of class. You were mimicking him even during your press conference. That man is a giant. He holds the record for the maximum filmfare award nominations simultaneously, across categories. His films are timeless. Your movies are for the moment. Thirty years later who will watch trash like OSO and Main Hoon Na? 'Upkaar' with its grain hoarders is as relevant today as when it was released. You may be more successful than him today but you're a pygmy as a filmmaker. I lost all my respect for you after the Manoj Kumar episode.
