The digital 3-D science fiction feature film has been directed and written by Oscar-winning filmmaker James Cameron, 55, of Titanic fame.

In it, a band of humans, two centuries in the future, are pitted in a heroic battle against a distant planet's indigenous population.

Shah Rukh Khan also made sure he caught the first show of Avatar in Mumbai. Apparently, he was so impressed by the film that he plans to take his family to watch the film in a special screening.

Elsewhere in Mumbai, Malaika Arora Khan and Twinkle Khanna were snapped during a fashion show titled Mijwan- Sonnets in Fabric -- A Fashion show with a Difference.

The fashion show is a culmination of several contests organised by Shabana Azmi for young designers to showcase their talent and in turn bring attention and funds to her NGO, the Mijwan Welfare Society started by her father, Kaifi Azmi, in Mijwan, Uttar Pradesh.
