Why Bollywood loves Bigg Boss!

The twitter world is quite a busy one, and Bollywood contributes a great deal to it. Here's looking at the best star tweets of the day.

Farah Khan loves Bigg Boss. '"She has made evil with me" says dolly bindra in bigg boss!mind blowing," she tweeted.

She followed it up with: 'Just did diwali pooja with all at home.now czar wants 2 see"cracklers".god it sounds like dolly bindras english.'

Preity Zinta complimented Salman Khan, the host of the reality show, 'Love watching you in Big Boss ! You r totally rocking that show! It is a riot. Big hug !'

But our favourite tweet came from filmmaker Ken Ghosh. 'Dear #bigboss please get Veena and Ashmit a room, also pls have subtitles when Khali talks!' he tweeted.

This show seems to be cracking Bollywood, eh?

 

Obama on their mind

Dia Mirza tweeted about US President Barrack Obama's visit to Mumbai: 'What an inspiring interaction of Prez Obama with students! Proud of the questions asked and fantastic answers. Our leaders should take a cue.'

Salman Khan, on the other hand, continued the ongoing Rajnikanth SMS humour with: 'U think Mr. Rajnikanth will give Obama his darshan???'

Diwali bash, Bollywood-style!

So what did the stars do on Diwali?

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted: 'Just back from a family jamboree ! Nothing in the universe can ever be a bigger force than the coming together of family !! The birds are chirping ... it is getting to be morning ... and I just return after the Diwali party in Jalsa .. happiness to all ...'

Shabana Azmi tweeted warmly, 'Lots of cousins over from Hyderabad for the annual Diwali celebrations. Maza aayega for the next 3 days.am on holiday. NOTHING work related. Diwali mubarak 2 all. Party hoPping. At Pammi bakshi now Bijon Dasguptas they are family am jetlagging and light headed. Last nights Diwali party still continuing at our place! Oft repeated Family jokes continue to give so much pleasure..lovely, comforting.'

Farah Khan had a lucky Diwali, as she won a lot of money. 'Maal jeeta re ! In a happy mood.awesome reactions 2 trailer.those who like boring films pls don't watch TMK!now 2 win sm money at akshays diwali party,' she tweeted.

Sonam Kapoor, looking pretty, partied her guts out. She tweeted, 'Danced for 5 hours straight. Super hungry.'

We will let Javed Akhtar have the last word with his beautiful couplet: 'Waise to aaj raat diwali ki raat hai / ek deep apne dil mein jalao to baat hai.'

But not everyone was happy during the Diwali weekend.

Bipasha Basu was stuck in a transit hotel after clicking a happy picture at Gold Coast, Australia. 'Amazing luck! Stuck at singapore airport fr 12 hours, next flt to brisbane is late tont!In a transit hotel now!:( ,' she tweeted.

Lara Dutta, shooting Don 2 in Berlin, tweeted, 'Got a bit of the Blues in Berlin. Bomsi's hugs, Kunu's smile and SRk's warmth making it a bit better. before you'll ask, PC is in London :-)'

Abhishek Bachchan, who's in Goa shooting for a new movie, tweeted, 'We MUST start a petition, the day after Diwali also MUST be declared a national holiday!!!! It's just cruel to expect one to work today.'

Insect trouble!

Rahul Khanna is dealing with trouble of a different kind! He tweets, 'Help! Can barely move. There seems to be a giant human-magnet under my bed. Squad urgently needed to deactivate it (after noon is good).'
