On June 23 last year, Lisa revealed that she was suffering from multiple myeloma, a relatively rare type of blood cancer.

 

The 38-year-old is cancer free right now after undergoing treatment consisting of chemotherapy and stem cell transplant.

Meanwhile, Minissha Lamba looks ready to host the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) festival.

David Fincher's Social Network, the Hollywood hit which follows the evolution of the social networking site Facebook, from an experiment at Havard university to the global phenomenon it is today, kickstarted the 12th edition of the Mumbai Film Festival on Thursday.

Over 200 films from as many as 58 countries will be screened over a period of seven days.

Shyam Benegal, chairman of the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI), which organises the festival, said the films in the International competition for the first feature film of directors will be judged by an international all-women jury headed by New Zealand filmmaker Jane Campion.

MAMI will also honour two outstanding film personalities -- Academy award winner Oliver Stone and noted filmmaker Manoj Kumar -- at the end of the festival, he said.
